In Rwanda, Danesi partnered up with a cooperative of small growers where they source a very distinctive coffee produced with zero impact on the environment and of superior quality. What inspired Danesi to make this choice is the role attributed to the women within the cooperative, and their involvement in decision-making processes. Danesi believes that empowering women producers in the Rwanda coffee sector will lead to the strengthening of the economic and social conditions of farmers’ communities.
