Ethiopia is the cradle of Arabica coffee, and in the Sidamo region, we have selected a fully traceable coffee coming from the Bombe mountains, which is amongst the best suited sites to grow quality coffee. The smallholders from Shanta Wene village grow their coffee cherries up to 2050 meters of altitude in small plot of maximum 2-hectares. Once ripe, the farmers deliver their cherries to the Ayla washing station where they’re processed, adopting alternative methods to give the coffee all its flavor, complexity, and sweetness. This is the whole beans variant.
